***PLAYER UPDATE 19/01/2018***

Following ongoing concerns with the pitch at the Parker E-ACT Academy and player safety, the Committee have been looking into alternative pitches to continue providing hockey training and playing opportunities for players. The Committee have successfully located and booked Bilton Grange in Dunchurch from 7:30-9pm on Wednesday evenings for the remainder of the training this season.
Whilst the Committee understands that there is an increased distance to travel, it has been deemed that the Parker Academy pitch is unsuitable for hockey use in its current state, and we have therefore relocated training to Bilton Grange. All scheduled home games will be re-arranged at alternative pitches with as little disruption to players as possible. Captains will inform you of details as appropriate.
Training will commence at Bilton Grange School, Dunchurch, Rugby, CV22 6QU from Wednesday 24th January until Wednesday 14th March and the cost will remain at £3.
Please note there are several guidelines set by the school to maintain the cleanliness of the pitch and the surrounding areas and the Committee politely asks that you adhere to any instructions set by the school when using the facilities.
How to find Bilton Grange astro turf pitch:
From the A426, take the main entrance into Bilton Grange School, opposite Northampton Lane. After approximately 200metres, turn right after the ‘lodge’ style building on the right-hand side, into Holmfield Lane. Continue past the first set of buildings on the left (Preparatory School) to the second school, which is the Montessori, also on the left. PARK HERE.
From the car park, take the gravel path to the left, the pitch is behind the wall you can see. PLEASE DO NOT CUT ACROSS THE GRASS. Keep to the path, through the gate and then, remaining on the path, around the big tree. Follow the path round to the right until you reach the entrance.
As you’ll discover upon arrival, the pitch is in a stunning setting and the school politely asks that you change into your playing footwear when you reach the pitch. PLEASE DO NOT SIT in the goals at half time to preserve the outstanding facility. Currently there are no changing rooms at the pitch but there are toilets pitch side.
We look forward to seeing you at training.
